Vito reporting Carmouche heading to Memphis this weekend

Don't know why Dre Evans is still on the board but he would be the best on your list 03. I think we would need a low post presence for him to be effective here at 5-9. Stephon Smith is not a mid-major prospect, in my opinion. Great body and extremely strong banger but does not have any offensive skills. Would look good on someone defensive line.

Mayberry is starting out at Navarro. Washburn would make since at the 3.

I'd rather get a post player, but Carmouche seems like a quality pickup to me.

What about Dominique Brooks from God's Academy? He has a dozen or so offers and looks like a solidly built guard at 6'2" 185. He may not have the best numbers, but he did play behind Ross-Miller.

If we are talking transfers then maybe Cardell McFarland or why not another Arizona State forward , Taylor Rohde ??

Here's an interesting possibility...

Paul McCoy (3 star Rivals, 3 star scout, Scout ranked #18 PG of 2008, ESPN ranked #32 PG and an 88 grade) is apparently transferring from SMU. SMU's Rivals page does indeed have a story about a big, shocking transfer. He put up 13.4 ppg, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists as a freshman, then tore an ACL last year.

We've gotten two valuable role players from SMU recently in Dez Willingham and Cam Spencer... Would another reformed Mustang consider coming north to us?

With a redshirt year to fully rehab his ACL, he'd be a nice 2 year option at point guard.

I think I'd rather have him than Carmouche, though it would be nice to have the immediate contribution that Carmouche would provide.

He's not local, so there's not really any reason for him to stay in the Metroplex... But if he's really transferring, I hope we make a run at him.
