RV stated one of the reasons that Dodge was given another year was because he was down players due to the APR reductions. Stephens could be down 5 from a NCAA maximum of 15 which seems a lot bigger problem than Dodge being down 4 and 6 from a 85 limit.

However unlike Dodge, Stephens' problems seem largely self-inflicted. As much as this team needs a pg or for that matter, just players; there is not enough reason to risk further injury. I feel sorry for the team, because this is definitely going to be a tough year.
