I'm sure SS will be working on chemistry beginning in August when the ladies begin summer session. If they buy into the system (which most have - just by news reports), it will be a family environment conducive to growth. It is obvious that these young ladies are winners and winners generally put team first and are not concerned with individual goals. It is always a concern when you put big names together - how the team will meld, but I think UCONN proved that great players achieve great things and it is the team that wins, not one player.
I agree - SS is no nonsense. Any foreseeable trouble (in my opinion) would be "freshman freedom", but Godboldt is from the immediate area... Cuffie was at a prep (boarding) school... Hughes, Hudson, Burwell & Kellum know about "campus life"... and Taylor, Hawkins, and Thompson obviously love SS and the staff, based on news reports.
SS has raised the standard. Jump on board - it may be a bumpy ride but she is going to have this team ranked before this freshman class graduates... I can feel it! Conditioning, dedication & desire to win will not be an issue with this incoming class either.
And to address any "quitting", I don't see any of the new recruits throwing their hands up - if anyone is ready to quit - it will be the recruits from the previous staff.
