Listening to the pre-game of Denver-NT woman's game, it was announced that Amber Jackson would not play due to suspension. I know not many currently care enough about WBB to be concerned, but has anyone every heard of a coach that suspends so many players. By my account this is the second time for Jackson, Hall was out a good part of the year, Escalera has also been suspended multiple times, Bailey was also out for several games before being academically ineligible. I am sure there are more.
It's not like Slinker had a bunch of troublemakers. Everything I have heard about Jackson is that she is a first rate individual. I like Stephens' spunk but you can take the "my way or the highway" approach too far.

Yeah I was stunned when I heard of the suspension. I wonder what she could have possibly done this late in the season to cause this? I would hope that it was something serious considering it's such a late game suspension of your best player.

I dont think it is "troublemakers", maybe some are not buying into "the system". You really had 2 different coaching (meaning recruiting) styles. "Walk it up" players sometimes dont comingle well with "94 feet of heat". Even though some of these young ladies are putting up the numbers, they may still be struggling with the system (or rules) of the team.
So, even though the cupboard wasn't bare on talent, it appears that there is (and has been) some underlying resistance. Just an observation based on what I have been reading...
