Hoping someone can help me understand why we bother to keep up with such lists. Unlike basketball, where it appears we not only offered kids, but we seriously in their top 3-5 list. From monitoring these list year after year, it seems that we sign less than 5%.
I can understand if we start compiling these names/lists in mid to late January, (or even in December) but they start immediately after each sesason and into the early summer. Why?
If history is an indication, we only sign kids when receive no other offers or we beat out Louisiana Lafayette or Stephen F. Austin. It's just a negative and/or beat down to get excited about a prospect only to learn that they committed elswhere.
Anyway, just my thought for the day!
