Does JJ and staff allow alums to help in scouting/recuiting? Very much respectthe concerns they would have but I'm around these kids all the time. I bring a high level of integrity, ethics and respect.

What should I do? (interested in the Southwest Dallas Couty schools)

I'd assume an alum helping with recruiting would be against NCAA rules - at least if you're a donor to the program(even if it's really innocent). Just scouting is probably be fine though. How to get ahold of JJ and co to ask though would be a good question.

I email back and forth with Charlie Leonard every once in a while...a few years ago I watched Hartford play a few games before UNT's match-up and sent him my impressions and have sent him word on a couple of local kids transferring. He always seems rather receptive.
