Alonzo Edwards officially signs 1 Year, 9 Months ago Karma: 15
Despite some valid questions about his production in college to this point, I like the signing. Hope he has a great career for NT

I'm gonna predict right now...that Holmen comes in next year, no longer has the "deer in the headlights" look, and beats out Edwards as a starter.

(Not saying I'm down on this signing...in any way. Just think that Holmen will put it together by next fall.)

I agree. I think Holmen starts next year, if not from the very beginning, then definitely by New Year's/conference play.

And not because Edwards will lose the job, but because Jacob will win it.

I like the prospects of using Edwards on the wing at least part time. Whatever questions there may be about the guy, I don't think anyone doubts his ability to hit 3's.

It'll make for interesting matchup options, for sure.

I think Holmen probably starts as well. I could even see Hogans getting the nod if we go for a more defense orientated look(and he's fully recovered). I'm very eager to see how Edwards looks on the floor for us. Very excited for November to roll around.

So am I. Very, very eager for basketball to come back around.

I mention it here because I don't think anyone will misunderstand, but it's a stark contrast to football. I don't feel any enthusiasm, and I have about the same amount of interest to boot. I honestly don't much care at all, one way or another. And football used to be by far my favorite sport.

I've never felt apathy or disinterest like this for NT football. It's probably not a good sign. But the basketball team... I just can't wait for them to start playing again.

Tasty I feel the exact same way. I always loved football 1st , but over the past year my heart has turned completely to the hardwood. While attending college the only game I ever went to was a home game vs a&m , but I managed to catch every home football game and even a few road ones. I'm going to Clemson this year , but mainly because I have family in ATL and I go out there once a year anyways so might as well throw in a great football atmosphere while I'm there. I just don't see the thing turning around on the football field. I love TD as a person , but a DI head coach he is not. I'll still probably go to every home game , but to win anything more than 4 games would be a shock.

On the other hand Im so , so excited about what's going on over on the hardwood. I can't to see who our 3rd guy is can't wait to get season tickets ,can't wait till Tech rolls into town can't wait for Hot Springs again.
