The JJ to Auburn watch is over, so time to get back to normal. JJ and co. were still recruiting even during the flirtation with AU. So, any word on anyone new we might be looking at?

Early signing for next year starts on November 10th and ends on the 17th.

The irony of the selection of UTEP's coach over JJ could free up Miners signee John Bohannon. The 6-10 F/C from Lancaster averaged a triple-double in the recent state tournament. (20 boards and near upset of Yates)

I have no idea who's coming to Denton. I hope we sign the "best player" instead of worrying if it's a juco or high schooler. I am not the greatest JJ supporter; mainly because of some wasted offers. I think there remains a huge talent gap between us and the Kstates of the world. He needs to stay and complete the job.

We have a chance to overhaul and upgrade the entire roster for 2011-2012. I would patiently sit and wait for the best transfers available. These guys should run the table in the Sunbelt and make UNT more attractive where we then can sign better HS kids.

Yeah, I know you've never been much of a Jones guy because of what you see as a lack of talent Cooley. But doesn't just about every school I can think of has "wasted offers"(at least in hindsight)? Hell, even the UCLA's and Duke's of the world get duds.

But especially schools, like ours, outside the Power 6 - since we tend to be take some chances. They may or may not pan out.
