Yeah, I originally was thinking maybe we could get Leonard to stay and Foy go with JJ. I don't really have loyalty to one over the other, just thought JJ might try and set leonard up with a head gig since he's been such a loyal soldier(wouldn't be the first time). But Foy staying and Leonard going would probably be make more sense.

I wonder if we do promote from within -- do we bring Quincy Williams in the fold? I'm sure we could find a spot on the bench for him if he wanted one.

Head Coach Foy, Assistant HC Forrest, someone new as the second assistant, and Quincy Williams cutting his teeth as our third assistant?

That's a staff I think I could get pretty excited about.

I respect Vito, but I still have to think this is far from a sure thing. That said, all we can do is speculate. I wouldn't think that JJ would expect all the guys to follow him to Auburn, so I could easily see someone from "the family" staying behind to build on what Jones started. Villereal and JJ have a great relationship from all reports, so I would even think JJ would wanna help out his former boss(not to mention the kids) if he could.

I think Foy is a real possibility.

I sincerely doubt we'd get Cross away from UTA. The only way you pull him away from there is a Power 6 job(still not quite throwing the A10 in with the big boys) --- especially now that he's finally gonna have a facility there.

Not sure if it's just internet fodder(probably is), but acouple of Auburn guys seem to think it's going to be Mike Anderson of Missouri.
