And btw.....someone posted that JJ wanted to have it at the Pourhouse. That's irrelevant to me. There's a reason why we have an AD. He's supposed to see the big picture. And the big picture is that you want to have this in a place where everyone can be seated.
I like TTG's idea of the Lyceum. You don't have to have food/beverages at the event.

I understand guys , I do. I have it easier than anyone else since I could walk from my house to pourhouse if I wanted to. I'm going to go early and I'll try to save seats if anyone wants me to.
I think it would be neat to walk around the whole place surrounded by UNT fans , because something like this doesn't happen very often. I feel like Kram on this subject

The big room in the ESSC would be perfect for this. Comfortable chairs, plenty of room, humongous projector screen, dead in the middle of campus...

Plus, I hate the Pourhouse.

Supposedly the Athletic Dept. is spinning this....by saying that the Pourhouse can hold more than the Athletic Center.

That would have to be the entire Pourhouse (patio, restaurant, Media Room).

When will people understand this: Most people don't give a crap about being at a Selection Show event......where you're in another room. You want to be in the room, with the team...the coaches. The reason you're there is to celebrate that moment with them.

One other thing: The Pourhouse doesn't have enough parking for 200-300 people. No way. The Athletic Center does. The Pit does. The Lyceum does.

Maybe there's a high school robotics competition scheduled at the Athletics Center on Sunday.
